So very sorry to see this announcement. We are sending condolences to Eric, Stephanie, and all the family members. I knew your mom years ago at Travis Elementary when I taught Stephanie. She was such a sweet, happy person and a joy to be around! Love and prayers, Beryl & Mark Miller

What a sweet lady. Charlotte was my first girlfriend and we shared the same birthday. Throughout the years we would often remind each other .. and joke with one another about the fact we kept getting older. To Chris and Larry and all the other other family members I am so sorry I did not get to see you at the visitation. Out of an abundance of caution we try to avoid large gatherings. Our prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

I had the privilege of feeling the warmth and love that Mrs. Charlotte Thurston freely gave when God placed her son Eric Thurston in my life. The highlight of my 3rd, 4th and 5th grade school years were spending the night, or weekend at the Thurston home. To me, Mrs. Thurston was the perfect mother with the sweetest smile & biggest heart. Words cannot express how thankful i will always be for the love and acceptance she bestowed upon me. She always made me feel at home and like "I belonged". May God now hold her, give her the peace and love she has given to so many other people throughout her life.

This world was a better place with Maw Maw Charlotte in it. My first memory of her was when we worked an event at PNE together. As soon as I met her I felt like I had known her for years. Her smile and her laugh I will never forget. She treated my children like they were her grandchildren too. So much love. She will be missed but know that she and Jim and Aunt Ida are sittin in the bleachers watching one heckuva basketball game together. Best seat in the house. Prayers of peace for all the family. Love, Amber, Jimbo Jett & Kennedy

While this world will miss such a wonderful and caring person, we know she was much more than this world deserved.

I was very blessed to meet Charlotte Thurston 20 years ago. She and I would sit around and giggle and laugh about the strangest things. She always had such a Cincy humor. She had my son in her class and he would do things just to make her laugh. She would tell him "Eric, don't make me go tell your mother!"Of course he would straighten right up but she really liked him. I had the opportunity to see her not too long ago and we picked up right where we left off. We have not seen each other in years and yet we will stay in there and just laugh and reminisce. We will all miss her but that is our selfish human nature. She is so much better Now!

Mrs. Thurston was always such a welcoming person. I've made great memories growing up in her home on 10th street. One of the most funniest memories was Mrs. Thurston picking us up from teen night at Spuds. Her mom (Dot) came in, went onto the dance floor....sporting her stylish curlers, slippers and night robe to let us / ME 🤗 know that they are there to pick us up. Mrs. Thurston was laughing so hard she was having an asthma attack. GREAT TIMES
