Chelsey Lynn Jones, 19, of Nederland, Texas passed away on January 28, 2013 at the Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was born in Port Arthur to Phillip Jones and Stacy Cook Sheldon. Chelsey loved the color purple and John Deere memorabilia.Funeral services will be held at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Kenneth Barker officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.Chelsey is survived by her mother, Stacy Sheldon of Nederland father, Phillip Jones and wife, Mary of Lumberton sisters, Kayla Sheldon, Lyndi Sheldon, and Kori Sheldon, all of Nederland stepsisters, Amy Brewer and Sarah White stepbrother, Chester Russell 8 nephews aunt, Diane Bergeron of Sabine Pass grandparents, Bill Cook of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Larry and Jeanette LeBlanc of Port Arthur, Rebecca Cook of Port Acres, and Geraldine Wilcox of Sour Lake and numerous aunts, uncles, and family members. She is preceded in death by her Pawpaw Jones, Grandma Penny, and Nana.Memorials may be given to the Chelsey Jones Benefit Account at the DuGood Credit Union.
