Chris “Chip” Hulgan, Jr., 51, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Friday, October 5, 2018. He was born in Nederland, Texas on July 14, 1967 to Chris Dwain Hulgan, Sr. and Margaret Bienvenu Cochran. He worked for Starcrest Apartments in the maintenance department.

Those left to cherish Chip’s memory are his parents, Margaret Cochran of Nederland and Chris Dwain Hulgan, Sr. of Dallas; his sons, Noah and Jonah Hulgan; his daughters, Willa and Savannah Hulgan; his brothers, Jeff Hulgan and Andrew Cochran; his sisters, Sabrina and Rebecca Hulgan; and his dog, Bella. He is preceded in death by his son, John Castillo; and his grandparents, Pat and Martial Bienvenu and Jerry and Joe Hulgan.

A memorial service will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., Bro John Morgan officiating.

Chip,what can I possibly say about him that we already dont know? He was a amazing neighbor that me and my family grew to love. Always looking out for us and our dogs. The way we met is a memory I'll definitely cherish forever in my heart. It makes me smile ,and remember you in a playful way. My heart aches but I'm however sure you're in a much better place ,rejoicing with the lord and your son. We pray about you ,and miss you so much sweet friend. I hate goodbyes and I cant get you out of my mind. I just saw you Thursday laughing and smiling as usual. You where such a kindred person, very humble. We love you buddy. I'll see you one day .
