Chris Macon, 41, of Groves passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas. He was born on January 27, 1975 in Port Arthur, Texas to Clarence Clinton Macon and Pamela Griffin Macon. Chris was a lifelong area resident and member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches. He was employed with Bomac as a Safety Supervisor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Cliff Rucker officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Imo Macon and Nathan and Patricia Griffin and brother, Joseph Nathan Romlus Macon. He is survived by his wife Nikki Macon of Groves, parents Clint and Pam Macon of Groves, son Jacob Edward Macon of Groves, step son Kane Adams of Groves, sister Lindsey Ruth Duval and husband, Joel of Groves, brother Brad Macon of Lovelady, TX. grandson Kylor Adams and several nieces and nephews.
