Christine Margaret Sanchez, 75, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

Christine was born on September 5, 1948, in Mumbai, India to the late Griselda and Martin Pinsent. Christine led a fulfilling life before her peaceful passing. She retired from the State of Texas Health and Human Services after dedicating herself as a secretary for years.

Christine was a long-time parishioner of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Jasper, Texas until she moved to Port Neches in 2000. She then started attending St. Anne Catholic Church in Beaumont and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. Her love for plants earned her a reputation for having a green thumb. Known for her love of dancing and constant desire to be on the go, Christine also had a penchant for McDonald's Frappes. She also enjoyed shopping at the Dollar Store and Lowes. Christine will be remembered for her warm smile that could light up any room and the love she had for her two furbabies.

Christine was preceded in death by her mother, Griselda Rita (Soares) Pinsent; father, Martin Dominic Pinsent; husband, Stanley Hubert Sanchez Sr., and brother, Bruce Francis Pinsent.

Christine leaves behind cherished memories for her surviving family and friends. Christine is survived by her sons, Stanley Sanchez of Port Neches, Texas; and Andy Sanchez and wife, Denise; daughter, Danielle Sanchez of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren, Dakota Joe Sanchez, Cheyenne Christine Sanchez, Karla Sanchez, and Nathan Sanchez; great grandchildren, Carli Sanchez and Jerod Sanchez; sister, Anne Ramachandran and her husband, Narayanan; nieces, Ingrid and Desireé; and nephew, Lloyd.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the rosary to be recited at 4:30 p.m., at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. Rite of Committal will take place at a later date.

In remembrance of a life well-lived and a deeply cherished individual who touched the hearts of many, may Christine rest in eternal peace.
