Christopher "Chris" Angelle, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, was born on November 19, 1958, in Port Arthur, Texas. He passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Chris' life was marked by an unwavering devotion to his family and a boundless affection for his dogs. He was married to his adoring wife, Sherry Angelle, for 30 wonderful years, building a life full of love and laughter. Chris was a proud father of Kendall and Michael Angelle, and a loving father-in-law to Kendall’s wife, Sherie. The pride in his boys was evident in the way he spoke about their lives and accomplishments. And of course, there was Apollo—the dog who was not just a pet, but his third son, and who was always by Chris’ side for their nightly dessert.
Whether he was on the water, rod in hand, casting into his favorite fishing spot, or behind the wheel of his ’69 Camaro, feeling the rush of the drag strip beneath him, he lived life full throttle.
He is also survived by his brother, Douglas Angelle, and his wife, Wanda, his nieces, Kerri Duhe and Bryanna Angelle; his sister, Gabrielle Nessour, and her husband, Frank, along with their son, Frank Nessour II; and his niece and nephews, Brittany Ling-Perniciaro, Tyler and Hunter Ling.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Ruby Angelle; his niece, Jennifer Alston; and his devoted dogs, Zeus and Sampson.
Chris Angelle will be deeply missed by all who knew him, yet his spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and within the community he cherished dearly.
