Christopher Gerard Guidry, 59, of Houston, TX was called to Heaven on November 2, 2013 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Port Arthur, TX on July 3, 1954. Christopher graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. Christopher is survived by his mother, Mary Magdalene Guidry; and his sister, Eva Donalson and brother-in-law, Tom Donalson ; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert John Guidry and nephew, Cameron Michael Powers. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 and Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery on Twin City HWY on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Christopher will always be known for his kind heart and will be greatly missed.
