I was very saddened to learn first of Joanie's husband's passing, and then of Joanie's passing a few days later. I first met Joanie in high school, when we were in the band together. She was a nice girl, and I will always treasure the memories. Keeping the family in thoughts and prayers. RIP.

Mrs. Dunn, Joey & Pam, I offer you my sincere condolences. Joey, I remember you well my friend. Although we haven't spoken in years, I will always remember you hanging out with my brother Tony. You were always a good old Port Arthur boy, just like Barry! I have heard so much about your beautiful sister. None of us understand these 2 tragedies but please know you have friends, even ones you may have forgotten about due to a busy life. We are still here, forever bonded by our years in PA! I wish there were more words to say, but I know first hand what you are going through. Perhaps we can talk it out together; I would love to hear your voice. Please give me a call sometime/anytime. 972-948-7391 -Scot Sappington

Sending our condolences and prayers to your family. We've known Joanie since childhood and we're so sorry for this loss. I don't think she would want us to be sad because she is in the most wonderful place she could be.

My heart hurts from realizing the absence of two close friends but I know that they have passed through to the next life together. When the "Barry met Joanie" event began I knew that they were a match made in Heaven. They greatly loved one another and they loved the Lord. Thank you Joanie for taking care of my buddy all of these years and thank you Barry for taking care of a great woman. Prayers to the family and friends. God bless!

I am heart broken over the sudden passing of Joanie and Barry. I still cannot believe it. My Christmas season started every year with a Christmas card from them. I could ALWAYS count on Joanie to send the first card I received each year. I will miss these two. Our paths didn't cross much over the past 30 years but always considered them great friends. Thanks for the memories we have from our hometown days. Til we meet again, my friends. You will be missed ⠤️

Among my many wonderful memories of Barry and Joanie is her difficult telephone call to me last Friday morning. I treasure that last conversation. I pray that your memories bring comfort, and may the peace of God reign in your hearts and sustain you.

I didn't know Joanie, but Barry always mentioned her when we had a moment to talk about something besides business. She must've been an amazing lady. I am so sorry for your losses. Your family will be in my prayers.
