Only GOD Knows Why: a poem by Zayne Melancon. When you lose someone that is close to you, It never fails to make you blue. You try and try to understand, And finally accept it must be in God's plan. But to take a loved one He sure makes you sad, And the more you think about it He makes you mad. They say that time heals all wounds, And you hope that time will come very soon. In this time of saddened grief, You hope it won't affect your belief. So when you think about your loss and start to cry, Just realize that it happens and Only God Knows Why.

This poem brought me comfort last year when I lost a loved one. In loving memory of Cindy.. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the ;path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard His call . I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I've found peace at the end of the day. If my parting has left a void then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared , a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things too I will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full. I savored much. Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now. He set me free. ~ Janice M. Fair-Salters We'll finish that game we were playing when we meet again my friend. I love you and I am blessed to have had you as my friend. Forever, Jan Lindsey-McDougle

Cindy it is so obvious the love, joy and kindness you have brought to so many lives. I thank God that he put you in my path so long ago and has continued to keep you close to me in some fashion throughout our lives. I have admired you, loved you and learned so much from you. I have some great memories that go back 35 plus years, I learned to love orchids because of you, You taught me how to make oyster dressing for Thanksgiving (which is still not as good as yours !) But the most cherished lesson I have learned is that trusting in God and Loving Others is the most important thing. Thank you for all that you have given in this physical world and I look forward to gardening in heaven with you… Love Kim
