Clara Mae Credeur, 85, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at Gulf Health Care Center in Port Arthur. Clara was born July 12, 1934 in Crowley, Louisiana to Mason Landry and Cloi Harrington Landry. She was a resident of this area for 27 years and was a retired cake decorator. She was preceded in death by her husband of 5 years, E.J. Credeur; and by her three brothers, John Landry, Mason James Landry, and Godfrey Landry. Survivors include two daughters, Denise Crochet of Lumberton, and Tracy Doucet and husband Kenny of Nederland; three sons, David Crochet and wife Vickie of Hemphill, Bradley Crochet of Orange, and Ernest Crochet, Sr. of Groves; two sisters, Dora Williams and husband Roger of Harrison, AR and Dorothy Dale and husband Bill of Republic, MO.; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2020 with a Rosary Service at 1:30 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend J. C. Coon, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
