Clarence Leslie " C.L." Clark, 89 of Port Neches passed in the winter of his years at home in the loving arms of family and friends on Friday, December 31, 2010. Honorably serving many years in the Merchant Marines during WWII and retired from The City of Port Neches after 28 years of service. Clarence was born on April 15, 1921 in Opelousas, LA. to Arthur and Gertrude Coshman Clark. Blessed with Elizabeth, his loving wife for 66 years, 3 beautiful daughters; Barbara Shahan, Kathy and Bobby Arens, Diane and Michael Green and 3 fine sons; Gary Clark, Danny Clark, Gordon Clark and friend, Amy Boneau, and 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend Peter Cammarano, Jr of First Methodist Church in Port Neches officiating. Clarence will be peacefully resting in the Lords arms beside his wife at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clarence was preceded in death by his loving wife; Elizabeth, his daughter-in-law; Diane Clark, his grandson; David Talbert and many more loving family members. You will be GREATLY missed by many, but NEVER forgotten! We all love you so much!
