CB was my next door neighbor and he and Wilma were the very first to welcome us to the neighborhood. I would talk with him in the yard and he was always so Pleasant. One of our conversations led to him going in the house and coming back out with a photo album of their house being built. They were one of the first to build and it only makes sense he was the first to welcome us. He is back with his sweetheart and I will miss our conversations. Just today I put his trash bags thrown in the yard by his door like I always do.

I am also part of the Fitbit Community Council family and was lucky to have know CB for the time that he was a member. We loved his sense of humor, his stories about his life, and his active participation in our group. He will be missed.

I met C.B. when he was 88 when I asked him to join our Community Council at Fitbit because I noticed his helpful presence throughout the community board I managed. It was a pleasure getting to know him, his heart, humor, and passion for life. My condolences to his family and friends at this incredibly sad time. Happy that he can join his wife, who he spoke so fondly.

C.B. was a dear friend and always a blessing to me. He loved GooGoos and Stewart's Root Beer. So when ever I came riding my motorcycle down from Nashville for a visit, I would be sure to pack some in my saddlebags. The conversation would go something like this - "You know I shouldn't have these, Phil" he would say with that grin of his. My reply was always - "C.B. , at your age it don't matter much. Enjoy!" And he would! My dear friend, I miss you already as you have a special place in my heart.

I'm part of CBs Fitbit family and just recently learned we had Prudential in common as well. I didn't know him long or well, but I will miss our interactions very much. Rest in peace.

I will miss my friend and our talks about growing up. He and Wilma were such caring neighbors. They knew all the neighbors' names and something about each of them. C.B. was truly one of the most intelligent people I have known and a true gentleman.

I worked with both Wilma and C.B. at Prudential and they became two of my best friends. Being around them always made me happy, and I enjoyed visiting them in Texas after they retired.
