HEAVEN was looking down on Mrs. Clarice and saw she was ready to be present with God. She was a precious jewel with a million dollar smile. I will truly miss Mrs. Clarice. Earth has no pain that Heaven can't heal. Sincerely, Pamela/Gentiva Hospice

A Loved One January 30, 2017
From A Loved One On the twenty-fifth day In the year of our Lord 2017 A host of angels fetched you away Breathing your last breath after Ninety nine years, two months and a day. Heaven got all your best And what is it we are left? Your body, home to your beautiful soul And now we return it to Mother Earth's soil. Left only with memories, joys, agonies and pain None of us will ever be the same. From Heaven above you were sent To show us just what true love meant And now He's taken you back home To that finer place where you belong While we are left here, alone. The mother of us all is gone. We children grieve and wonder why Seeking comfort from the ol' "by and by". The day will come again we'll sing When, as a family brings a gathering And in that time our sorrows will abate Though at the table so many empty plates You and our loved ones who've crossed past Heaven's gates. It's early, early morn I sit here weeping and forlorn Searching for words that will not come. As we all know, words will never do For one so fine, kind and beautiful as you. You were not my mother, not by blood But you most assuredly were, by love. And though sad, I thank the Lord above And the ol' "by and by". This one thing I pray of Thee That as I live, I may die In the bosom of this family And on that day that I may see Those gone before, so dear to me.
