Clarice Manning Taylor, 84, of Vidor, Texas., passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas. Clarice was born in Woodbury, GA., on April 9, 1933 to the late, Milton M. Waddell and Mary Alma Melton Waddell.
Those left to cherish Clarice’s memory are her daughter, Kim DeRouen and her husband, Scott of Lake Charles, Louisiana; son, Mitchell Roebuck and his wife, B.J. of Vidor, Texas.; grandchildren, Summer Etheredge, Casey Roebuck, Saren Smith, Joli DeRouen and Dorman Eaves; great-grandchildren, Blake Allen Roebuck, Clayton Roebuck, Ashlyn Roebuck, Zoey Etheredge and Morgan Smith; and her dog, Nitro.
In addition to her parents, Clarice is preceded in death by her daughters, Shirley Edwards and Angela Manning; and her son, Terry Roebuck.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas., on Tuesday evening, March 13, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home. The graveside service will follow at Damon Cemetery in Damon, Texas. at 4:00 p.m.
