I had only been Claude & Sheila's neighbor for a few months before my husband suffered a heart attack. We knew no one in Beaumont except our neighbors. Claude stayed at the hospital all day with me until he was sure my husband was going to be okay. He was a wonderful loving man of God!

Claude Ray's Beautiful spirit will be missed. He defined the word Gentleman. He was so courageous in his fight to live this life. Heaven is welcoming another child of God,though our hearts are heavey, rejoice for he is home.

Claude Ray and I were neighbors when the Berwicks lived on 6th street in Port Arthur. We spent many a carefree hour roaming the neighborhood creating havoc. Claude was the kind of kid you just liked to hang out with. Please accept my condolences. Robert (Kayo) Harlow

I believe Claude was a member of my graduating class at Port Neches-Groves, Senior class of 1960. He was a respectable and congenial classmate for our three years in high school. My sincere condolences to all and may you all keep your memories close to your hearts. Sincerely, Dianne Thompson (Hollier) Formerly of Port Neches
