Claude Joseph “Joe” Pinell, III, 63, of Nederland, Texas passed away September 3, 2013 at his home. He was born on November 15, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to Claude Joseph Pinell, Jr. and Ruth Jenny Reese. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Army and retired from Huntsman.

A memorial service will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Claude is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Jenny Pinell. He is survived by his son, Benjie Pinell of Nederland; his father, Claude Pinell, Jr. of Port Arthur; his sister, Cheryl Rivas of Port Arthur; and his granddaughter, Kyleigh Rene Pinell of Florida.
