My sweet precious Brother what a journey it has been! Now as I journey without you, my heart is broken, but memories of you will be near to comfort me especially those funny antics, jokes, phone calls will be my memories. I love you...until we meet again. Sister

I loved visiting with CD @ FBC Groves before church on Sunday's. When offered a hand, he always had a hug and made me glad I stopped to visit. We will meet again. In Thessalonians 4:13-18 (paraphrased) it says that since Jesus died and broke loose from the grave, God will most certainly bring back to life those who died in Jesus & we can tell you with complete confidence--we have the Master's word on it--that when the Master comes again there will be one huge family reunion with the Master. So reassure one another with these words. My deepest sympathy to Peggy and all of the family. We will also miss him.

C.D.,you were like another brother to me. In our junior high years, you, Wayne, James Workman and Dwayne Nobles were always hanging out together. So many memories and fun we all had growing up. I am so sorry that you are no longer with us. My sincere condolence to Peggy, his daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his sister, Jackie. R.I.P my good friend and brother. You are going to be missed.

C.D. had such a sweet spirit every time I was around him. Know that you and your family are in my prayers. I would be there but for another friend who just lost her mother. Love you, Peggy!
