Clifford Keith Franklin, 51, of Sabine Pass, TX passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He was born July 25, 1962 in Lockhart, TX to Rudolph and Ellie Franklin. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator.

Clifford is survived by his parents, Rudolph and Ellie Franklin of Philadelphia, MS; his sons, Chris Franklin of Nederland, TX and Justin Franklin of Lumberton, TX; 6 grandchildren, Justin, Quency, Cameron, Carson, Carisma, and Kennadi Franklin; sisters, Francis Wall of Orangefield, TX; Polly Cooner of Laporte, TX; Ruby Kuzman of Mauriceville, TX; brother, Douglas Franklin of Beaumont, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Clifford is preceded in death by his brother, Glen Franklin.

Clifford could crack me up one second and infuriate me the next,then make me laugh in spite of it. He had a way about him like no other. He could talk to anyone and he made friends with everyone. I will miss you here,and will see you on the other side. RIP now.

I remember Clifford was always the comedian during our school years. My earliest memory was more serious when he and I were about 13 Alvin Francois had tragically drowned. Clifford and I were pallbearers. Clifford will be greatly missed by many. Rest in peace old friend. May God hold you in the palm of his hands until we meet again.

Clifford was a loving and caring brother who never met a stranger, he could make anyone laugh or at least smile no matter how much they didn't want to. he was always makeing joke and makeing the best out of any situation, I will miss him very much and cherish his memories. love you my brother now you can rest in peace and watch over your loved ones especially those grandchildren that made you so happy.
