Clifton “C.J.” Joseph Landry, Jr., 76 of Beaumont, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018. He was born in Cecilia, Louisiana on August 24, 1942 to the late Clifton Joseph Landry, Sr. and Isabelle Guidry Landry. C.J. was a pipe fitter for Local 195 for 42 years. He was known as PawPaw to every child. He had extra children that wasn’t his but he claimed everyone.
Those left to cherish C.J.’s memory are his wife of 44 years, Belinda Whittlesey Landry of Beaumont; his children, Gala Landry and her spouse Andre Moore of Fannett, Lucas Landry of Fannett, and Andrea Crutchfield and her husband, Steve of Hamshire; his grandkids, Dominique, Channing, Devyn, Draidyn, Drailyn, and Jana; his great grandkids, Kamryn and Alex; his sisters, Ruby Edgerly and her husband, Arnold of Nederland and Betty Nezat and her husband, James of Bridge City; and his brother, Carroll Landry of Nederland. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jackie Landry.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Father Rejimon George officiant.
