Clint Forest Rebert, a life-long resident of Nederland, died Monday, May 4th, 2015, one day before his 49th birthday.
Clint was a deeply loving father to his daughter, Camrynne (15), and a dedicated uncle to his nephews, Kolby (25) and Kalen (19). He was known by all as an avid fisherman, hunter, and family man, always placing the needs and wants of his family above his own. Clint was employed by Echo Maintenance and previously had a long tenure with Philpott Ford in Nederland. Throughout his work life, he was often referred to as an extremely accommodating and hard-working employee. He loved fishing, hunting, NASCAR, cooking, being with his friends and family, and doing just about anything outdoors. Above all things, he loved his daughter. Clint touched so many people with his electric personality, giving spirit, and ability to speak out some of the funniest things you've ever heard at the drop of a hat, leaving a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Clinton and Geraldine Rebert; his daughter, Camrynne; his sister, Stacy; and his nephews, Kolby and Kalen.
A memorial service will be held to remember and honor Clint's life on Monday, May 11, 2015, with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. and the service at 2:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will immediately follow at the KC Hall in Port Neches. In lieu of flowers, if preferred, a donation can be made to the college account in his daughter's name, Camrynne Rebert, at any Dugood Credit Union location.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to all of their extended family and friends who have shown great love and support; you have truly helped us get through the most difficult time of our lives.
