Clint Forest Rebert

1966 ∼ 2015

Clint Forest Rebert, a life-long resident of Nederland, died Monday, May 4th, 2015, one day before his 49th birthday.

Clint was a deeply loving father to his daughter, Camrynne (15), and a dedicated uncle to his nephews, Kolby (25) and Kalen (19). He was known by all as an avid fisherman, hunter, and family man, always placing the needs and wants of his family above his own. Clint was employed by Echo Maintenance and previously had a long tenure with Philpott Ford in Nederland. Throughout his work life, he was often referred to as an extremely accommodating and hard-working employee. He loved fishing, hunting, NASCAR, cooking, being with his friends and family, and doing just about anything outdoors. Above all things, he loved his daughter. Clint touched so many people with his electric personality, giving spirit, and ability to speak out some of the funniest things you've ever heard at the drop of a hat, leaving a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Clinton and Geraldine Rebert; his daughter, Camrynne; his sister, Stacy; and his nephews, Kolby and Kalen.

A memorial service will be held to remember and honor Clint's life on Monday, May 11, 2015, with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. and the service at 2:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will immediately follow at the KC Hall in Port Neches. In lieu of flowers, if preferred, a donation can be made to the college account in his daughter's name, Camrynne Rebert, at any Dugood Credit Union location.

The family would like to express their deep gratitude to all of their extended family and friends who have shown great love and support; you have truly helped us get through the most difficult time of our lives.

One time Rebert was my partner in a golf tournament, he had a "great day on the course" and we won the tournament. Other teams said I recruited a "Ringer"! After that every time I saw Rebert, i would say "what's up Ringer" and he would get that "million dollar smile." One of many good memories! Rest in Peace, my friend...

Grew up with Clint since Langham Elementary through High School. Though we lost touch over the years we would run in to each other from time to time remembering the good times we had. Was out of town during his passing and saddened to hear of the loss. My heart goes out to his family and are surely in our prayers.

I have known Clint for a such a while now. I always looked forward to seeing Clint. He's always been such a good friend. He's always smiling & happy. Loves his family so much & so proud of his little girl. Always ready for that next hunt or catching those fish. Such a sweet heart. It's been a while since I have seen him after losing my heart. But have been talking to him wanting to see him because he made my day. Love you so much my heart hurts knowing I won't be able to talk to you or see you anymore so I can't imagine what your baby girl is going through. Be strong Camrynne. Your daddy loves you & will be w/you always. Love y'all Kelli Keenan

I have known Clint since CO Wilson and we have been friends every since. He was always very entertaining and the one that had the class laughing at all times even though we got in trouble sometimes, it was worth it because he was hilarious. We had a lot of fun memories and he will be truly missed. I remember the day that he was patiently waiting to see if his gorgeous daughter, Camrynne made varsity cheerleader and when he posted that she made it, there was no doubt how proud he was of her as he always has been. Clint had the biggest heart and knew everyone and everyone loved him. He will never be forgotten nor all the laughter he brought to everyone. Mr. & Mrs. Rebert, you raised one amazing, loving and caring son. He was very blessed to have such a great family and continued that love with Camrynne. My heart goes out to all of you with lots of hugs and prayers. Until we meet again my friend!

Dear Family, It is my hearts desire to say the right thing; to speak the deepest most sincere words, to bring back the happiness, joy and peace...too soon removed; words...to take away all of the pain. But there are no words to express what is felt in our hearts...ABSENCE! Clint, if you knew him, you feel the void. The void of love for family, excitment and adventure...youthfulness! My family met him, loved him...and now we all mourn for him. May the Most High in all of his mercy, who knows what we don't know, see what we didn't see, understand where we are not capable...pardon with GRACE that is sufficient. To Clint's wonderful, caring and most loving family: I pray for peace that surpasses all understanding. With Loving Thoughts, Marcus ad Linda Spencer
