Clothilde DeJean Clothilde DeJean, 83, of Groves died Friday, September 23, 2011 at her home. She was born June 4, 1928 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana to Willie Babineaux and Marie Trosclair Babineaux. Clothilde had lived in Groves for 65 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She retired from PNGISD as a custodian after 30 years of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves with Monsignor Kenneth Greig officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with a rosary service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Clothilde was preceded in death by her husband; Roy Joseph DeJean, Sr., son; Roy Joseph DeJean, Jr. and grandson; Erik Adaway. She is survived by six daughters; Judy Ann DeJean of Arkansas, Sandra Marie Adaway of Port Neches, Marilyn Adaway and husband, Michael of Port Arthur, Elizabeth DeJean and fianc, Robert Pineda of Groves, Cynthia DeJean Monceaux of Nederland, and Roxanne Romero and husband, Don of Nederland, son; Christopher DeJean and wife, Michelle of Groves, ten grandchildren; two step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren.
