Clovis Rayburn Wigginton, 88, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Simpson, Louisiana. Clovis was born January 21, 1927 in Crockett, Texas to Henry Wigginton and Udell Adams Wigginton. He has been a resident of Port Arthur since 1947 and retired from Texaco Refinery in 1984 as an operator supervisor. He was the owner of many properties and various businesses. Clovis had also worked for Halliburton in the oil fields on cable and tool rigs. He enjoyed being outdoors and tending to his livestock. Clovis served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a in the National Guard from 1946-1950. He was a member of American Legion Post #7. He was preceded in death by his wife, Corina Wigginton and son, Clifford Wigginton. Survivors include his children, Rita and Kenneth Dugas of Santa Fe, TX; Glenn and Connie Wigginton of Simpson, LA; brother, Audrey Glenn Wigginton of Midland, TX; grandchildren, Chad and Kim Dugas of Pearland, Traci and Jason LaFollette of Webster, TX, Brandi and Ronnie Daigle of Mauriceville, TX, Kevin and Cherytie Wigginton of Simpson, LA, Jake Wigginton of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Brittni LaFollette, Chassidy Dugas, Chloe Dugas, Grayson Fisher, Christian Wigginton, Logan Dollins, James Daigle, Brianna Daigle; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Frank Hodges officiating. Military Graveside services will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
