Cody, I will miss all your laughs, songs, jokes and everything we shared. You saved me a few years ago and convinced me to move back home to you. Even though you are gone, I will never forget all our experiences together and the fun times we had. I will miss you so much! Words can't express how many things I wish I could have told you the last time we spoke.

Where to start bro? I will always remember you as Mr. Everything. Football, baseball, singing; Whatever it was, you could do it. Always a smiling face and positive attitude. It's all so surreal right now that words cannot explain. You will not be forgotten and we will meet again. Until then, I'll keep practicing and maybe be better than you at something when we do.

Eddie, we are so sorry for the loss of your son. Our sons are the same age and we can't even begin to know how you feel. Our prayers go out to you and your family. Eddie, we pray for God to heal the heart from the loss of your son and in time replace the pain. But never forget the joy he gave to you while he was here. Gone but never forgotten.

Elkins Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I always considered Cody one of my closest friends. I have great memories of Cody all the way up from Pop Warner football to high school baseball. Cody always seemed to know how to lift your spirits and put a smile on your face. He really loved the people closest to him and would do anything for them. The world has truly lost a great person. However, I know Cody is making somebody laugh today in Heaven. We'll miss ya Cody.

Eddie & Martha, We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your precious son. We know exactly how you are feeling. We should never have to bury our children. There will always be an empty hole in your heart for him. We pray that God will give you the strength to wake up each morning and get through another day as He has given us. Its not going to be easy, but with God in your life you will make it through. I know Brent & Cody are in Heaven right now watching over us and probably throwing a few balls to one another. If there is ever anything we can do to help you please do not hesitate to ask. Even if its just to have a shoulder to cry on, we are here for you. Our prayers are with both of you and your families. We Love You

Elkins, Man I'm still stunned that your no longer with us. It was only a couple of months ago when I saw you at the nederland heritage festival with your dang longhorns hat on that you needed to throw in the trash. Like always, you picked me up and gave me a huge bear hug that about popped every bone in my body. I remember when you used to come by the house ringing the door bell late at night. Mike and I would wonder who in the world would come over at night and there you were with your truck parked on the side of the road, laughing and telling jokes. Good memories bro and I'll never forget all the times we had. Love you and I'll see you again.
