Connie Chelette Thompson

Connie Chelette Thompson, 90, of Port Neches, Texas died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at The Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Webster, Texas. Connie was born November 20, 1922 in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana to Dirville Loftin and Goldie Mae Vastine Loftin. She retired from Sears Credit Department with 26 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church in Groves. Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Reverend Charles Miller officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and a brother. Surviving relatives include her husband, Claude Thompson of Orange, Texas; daughter, Linda Rose and husband Carl of Port Neches, Texas; son, Daniel D. Chelette and wife Tina of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Connie Catranis and husband Ted, Charles Plumhoff and wife Elizabeth, Anthony Chelette, and Christina Chelette.
