Conrad Carlson

Conrad Carlson, 87, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Thursday at his home in Port Neches. Conrad was born on June 17th, 1934 in Roscommon, Michigan to the late William and Cora Carlson.

Mr. Carlson was an expert wood worker having built many homes and a variety of beautiful pieces of furniture. Conrad was a member in good standing of IBEW Local 479 for 65 years where he was a journeyman electrician. Conrad was a hardworking man who was dedicated to his family where he routinely spoiled his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Conrad’s memory are his sons and daughter, Mark Carlson and wife Sue, Sandra Richards and husband Wade, Lonnie Carlson and wife Linda. Grandchildren, Erin Lewis, Adam Carlson, Jared Richards, Jason Richards, Chad Carlson, Dr. Taylor Pitts; Great Grandchildren; Abigail Carlson, Micah Carlson, Braxton Lewis, Eelyn Lewis, Gavin Lewis, Layton Richards, Teagan Richards, Cohen Richards, Cole Carlson, Cody Carlson and Lakyn Carlson.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Bluff Cemetery Tuesday January 18th at 2:00pm under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Mr. Carlson’s honor be made to the charity of your choice.
