2000 ∼ 2026

Corey Bryant Heidenrich

Corey Bryant Heidenrich, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on June 16, 2026. Born on April 24, 2000, in Nederland, Texas, Corey lived a life marked by quiet strength, kindness, and a profound love for those around him.

From a young age, Corey demonstrated an impressive intellect and a gentle soul that endeared him to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His career in Industrial Construction with Admiral Field Services at Exxon Mobil was a testament to his dedication and work ethic, but those who knew him best understood that his true passions lay beyond the workplace.

Corey found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the great outdoors. An enthusiastic member of the Karma Riders Car Club, he delighted in fishing, camping, and all manner of outdoor adventures. Corey will be remembered for his boundless love for all creatures, especially his pets. His love for animals consistently brought endless joy, comfort, and laughter to his family and friends. His commitment to community was evident through his love of soccer—whether playing, coaching, or refereeing—the sport was a source of endless happiness and connection. Moreover, Corey’s musical talent shone through his playing of the saxophone, adding a melodic note to his varied interests.

Corey's character was one of intelligence blended with a quiet humility; he was kind and always willing to help anyone in need. Among his proudest accomplishments was serving as a caregiver for his brother Jordan, an act reflecting his deep compassion and sense of responsibility.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Adam and Sherry Heidenrich of Nederland, whose love and support guided him throughout his life. He also leaves behind his brothers, Jordan Heidenrich and Nolan Heidenrich, both of Nederland, as well as his chosen brother, Shawn Baird of Nederland. Cherishing his memory are his grandmothers, Jackie Philyaw of Nederland and Mary Heidenrich of Croswell, of Michigan. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever hold dear the memories they shared with him.

Corey was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmy Philyaw, whose spirit and legacy lived on through him. He also was preceded in death by his great grandparents “from the moon” Jessie Sr. and Virginia Morgan Bryant of Livingston,Texas.

Though Corey’s life was tragically brief, his impact is enduring. Known for his kindness, intelligence, and quiet strength, Corey Bryant Heidenrich touched the lives of many with his gentle heart and steadfast devotion. His memory will continue to inspire those who loved him, reminding all who knew him of the power of compassion and love.

A celebration of Corey’s life will be held in Nederland, at his lifetime home church, Wesley Methodist Church. Family and friends will gather to honor a man whose presence enriched the lives of all who crossed his path. The gathering of family and friends will be held at Wesley Methodist Church located at 3515 Helena Avenue in Nederland on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 11:00 a.m.

May Corey rest in eternal peace, forever remembered as a gentle soul who brought light to the world. The family would like donations to be made to the CTE department at Nederland High School in honor of Corey and his love for cars. Checks can be mailed to: Nederland High School, 2102 S. 18th Street, Nederland, Texas 77627, with the memo stating for the CTE program in honor of Corey Heidenrich.
