Cory Don Sheridan

Cory Don Sheridan, 44, of Groves, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. He was born in Groves, Texas on June 30, 1974 to Jim Sheridan and Janell Venable Sheridan. Cory was a tug boat captain for Moran Towing and a member of Proctor Baptist Church in Port Arthur.
Those left to cherish Cory’s memory are his daughters, Lexie Ann Sheridan of Nederland and Lindsey Paige Sheridan of Nederland; his son, Brendon Don Sheridan of Midland; his parents, Jim and Janell Sheridan of Groves; his grandson, Zachary Cole Sheridan; his sister, Suzanne Sheridan of Tyler; and his brother, Darrell Sheridan of Hawkins.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018, with a funeral service being held at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Pilgrim Cemetery in Elkhart, Texas, under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home.
