Cosette Marie Laperruque Concienne, 83, of Beauxart Gardens, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

Cosette was born on May 26, 1939, in Phoenix, Arizona to Virginia Lee McKnight Laperruque and Edward Laperruque. She had lived in the Nederland area for many years as well as in New Mexico and Arizona. Cosette loved to travel and was a self-employed Travel Agent. She was an avid reader; loved taking care of her plants and was very active in DSR where she was a lifetime member and even volunteered at local hospitals including Mid-Jefferson Hospital in Nederland. Cosette was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland where she participated in church activities.

Survivors include her husband, Lynn Concienne. Cosette’s family: daughter, Sarah Abdula of Saudi Arabia; granddaughter, Myra of Saudi Arabia; brother, Eddie Laperruque; sister, Elizabeth Laroche and her husband Paul.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2022, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with a Rosary to be recited at 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland, Texas.
