Courtney Boles Odle was born February 11, 1987 in Port Arthur, TX and left us on December 2, 2014 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Courtney attended Stephen F. Austin Middle School in Port Acres and graduated from Nederland High School in 2005. She attended Lamar University Beaumont on a Fine Arts Scholarship. She was employed by Exel Incorp/Exxon Mobil.
Spunky, vibrant, authentic rebel with a charismatic soul, are only a few words that can describe such a beautiful young woman.
Courtney loved the arts and was very social in the art and music world. She created pieces at the Art Studio in Beaumont that she shared with family and friends. She participated in many art and music events in Oklahoma and Texas.
A unique, old soul, Courtney’s shining spirit inspired many. She was an enthusiastic and influential member of the First Unitarian Church of Oklahoma City, where she was a Pre-K Sunday school teacher.
Courtney had a passion for advocating various organizations that supported Human Rights, World Peace, Arts and humanitarian efforts. She was a devoted, vintage wife and mother who was, beyond dedicated and loving to her husband and young daughters.
Leaving behind those to celebrate her life are, husband, Craig Odle of Beaumont; daughters, Annabella & Zoe of Beaumont; parents, David & Terry Young of Nederland; brothers, Kale Chance, Alex & Zach Young all of Nederland; sister Molly Young of Nederland; grandparents, Jill Boles of Port Arthur; Randy & Nellie Chance of Port Arthur. A host of family & friends.
Funeral Services will be Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 12 – 2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
