Craig Arthur Mears, 59, of Lumberton, Texas passed away May 30, 2019. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 2, 1959 to the late Perkins Dallas Mears and Sammy Buckner Mears. Craig was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Smith Tank Company. He loved the Minnesota Vikings NFL Football team. Craig was a devoted husband, father, and brother. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish Craig’s memory are his wife of 29 years, Beatrice McCauley of Lumberton; his children, Aaron Mears and his wife, Lindsey of Little Rock, Arkansas, Gabriel Mears of Lumberton, and Ryleigh Mears of Lumberton; his brother, Terry Mears of Beaumont; his sister, Debbie Mahan of Tacoma, Washington; and also by his aunt and many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church in Beaumont.
