I am at a loss for words. I had only reconnected with Cindy, my dear high school friend, a couple of years ago. We spoke a few times as we caught up, and I sent messages that went unanswered in recent months. I am deeply saddened by the news of her passing. Cindy always had a beautiful smile on her face and kind words for everyone. She was truly admired and loved in school. I had hoped to see her last summer when she mentioned possibly coming home for a visit. My heart goes out to her family and close friends—her loss is immeasurable. I will be praying for all of you. We will see her again in heaven, and I know she’ll be there with that same radiant smile, waving me through the pearly gates. Our Sincerest Condolences to the family 🙏Paula Powell P-Dorsey & Gary M Dorsey—HHS Class of 1970

I am very sad to hear that Cindy has passed away. I got to know her when I was Interim County Clerk and she was a long time poll worker. She always very kind and did her best to run an efficient and organized polling location. It was a pleasure getting to know her. I pray her family finds peace in the weeks and months to come.

Taylor and Emily, It has been a great many years since I saw my cousin Cindy. My dad Harry was Joann’s brother. As one of the youngest cousins, and Cindy one of the oldest, I still picture her with a bubbly personality and as a pretty teenager. Take solace in your good memories; smile when you think of her and she will be with you.
