Dale Arthur Max

Dale Arthur Max, 88, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away on February 3, 2023, at his residence in Port Neches.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Dale was born in Burlington, Iowa, on December 19, 1934, to Arthur Max and Mamie (Spaugh) Max. He met his beautiful bride Florence (Weiser) Max at a YMCA dance in 1964 and they were married in July,1966. After serving in the United States Army for two years, Dale worked for Texaco as a Chemical Engineer until his retirement in 1994. In his spare time, he enjoyed hiking, sailing, and traveling. He was also an avid model airplane enthusiast, logging many hours both building and flying his creations.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Florence Max of Port Neches.
