Dale was always the one who made our dull district meetings at Texas Farm Bureau tolerable with his great sense of humor. I will always remember how he was always willing to help me with anything. Dale shared some stories of his service in the Vietnam war. He truly was a hero and I am sure he saved several guys from getting killed by his willingness to stand up in battle and take the fire while others were able to take cover. I will always remember Dale as a dear friend and a great warrior. RIP Dale!
