Dalton Rodney Rutherford

Dalton Rodney Rutherford, 74 of Groves passed away at his home on Sunday, June 5, 2011. He was born February 27, 1937 in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a retired machinist and worked at Gulf Co Machine & Supply for 30 plus years. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Nevelyn Rutherford of Groves; his two sons, Dale Rutherford and his wife, Lori of Fannett, Drew Rutherford and his wife, Velma of Crystal Beach; grandsons, Nathan Rutherford, Noah Rutherford, Mitchell Tully all of Fannett; granddaughter, Madison Rutherford of Fannett; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bobby and Claudette Ellis of Groves; nephew Blake Ellis and wife, Lori of Weatherford; great-nephew Jordan Ellis and great-niece, Morgan Ellis. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas with Reverend Beverly Tune pastor of Groves First United Methodist Church officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
