Dama Hughes, 79, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at Magnolia Manor in Groves. Dama was born April 12, 1936 in Temple, Texas to Roy and Lela Jane Boyd Denson. She has been a resident of Port Neches since 1955 and retired as a sales clerk for Hughes Barber and Beauty Supply. Survivors include her husband, Richard Wayne Hughes of Port Neches, TX; three daughters, Tina Hughes of Yukon, Ok, Cindy Cunningham of Yukon, Ok, Donna Carter and her husband Ray of Port Acres, TX; one son, Paul Hughes and his wife, Lynette of Bethany, Ok; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches, Texas with Reverend Dennis Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
