Dana Renae Stark, 48, of Nederland passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on May 10, 1965 to William Richard and Sonja Hinds Wilson. Dana graduated from Port Neches Groves High School in 1983. She was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church in Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be held at Ridgewood Baptist Church of Port Arthur on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dustin Guidry officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Dana is preceded in death by her father, William Richard Wilson; her father-in-law, Kenneth Start; sister-in-law, Carolyn Boneaux; and her niece, Ashlyn Raborn. She is survived by her husband, Brent Stark of Nederland; her mother, Sonja Wilson of Port Neches; her daughter, Taylor Stark of Nederland; her son, Blake Stark and his wife, Ashley of Fort Worth; her sisters, Denise Talbot and her husband, Barry of Nederland, Lori Roberts and her husband, Michael of Port Neches, and Lisa Dillow and her husband, Paul of Groves; her brother, Mike Guntner and his wife, Rhonda of Nederland; her granddaughters, Kenadee Billiot and Emma Stoyer; her mother-in-law, Gloria Stark; her sister-in-laws, Sharon Mallory of Nederland, Charlotte Stark of Nederland, and Rene LaHaye and her husband, Paul of Nederland; brother-in-laws, Kenny Stark and wife, Linda of Katy; Phillip Stark of Conroe; Wayne Stark of Port Neches; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Scooter and Sofee.
