Daniel Miller, 97, of Jennings Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home in Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
Funeral Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Officiating will be Dr. Joe Worley and Reverend Charles Miller. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Daniel was born on April 5, 1926, in Evangeline, LA, to Louis and Lorecia Miller. He served our country proudly from 1944-1946 in WWII in the United States Army where he served in Germany and France. He then went on to become an Electrician for Texaco working as an Electrical Supervisor.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty-eight years, Myrtle Mae Miller; three brothers: Ervin, Hilary, and Clyde Miller; sister: Iris Boril.
He is survived by his daughter, Roxie Broussard and husband, Ronnie of Groves, TX; son: David Miller and wife, Karen of Arlington, TX; four grandchildren: Kimberly Thibodeaux, Brandon Miller, Shane Miller, and Jerod Broussard; as well as ten great-grandchildren; brothers: Reive and Ted Miller of Jennings, LA.
