Darrell Elwyn Smith, a dedicated pipeline worker for Chevron Pipeline Company in Fannett, has peacefully passed away on March 17th at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Born on January 16th in Wichita, Kansas, Darrell's hard work and commitment defined his life. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy will live on through the memories he created and the lives he touched.
Darrell is survived by his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who will always cherish the time they spent with him. He was also a loving companion to his beloved dog, Bella.
In remembrance of Darrell's life, a Graveside Service will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas on March 23rd. The ceremony will be a time to honor and celebrate the impact Darrell had on those around him.
Darrell is now reunited with his sweetheart Dee in eternity. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Bridges Smith and Neva Lucas Smith; sisters Norma Dennett, Beverly Fenimore, Shirley Rose; brothers Maurice Smith Jr., Don Smith.
As we say our goodbyes to Darrell Elwyn Smith, may we find comfort in the memories we shared and the love he so freely gave. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
