The Lord called him home in a peaceful manner on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, he was 90 years old. Darrell Zane "PawPaw" Bourghs, of Port Neches, Texas was born December 17, 1928 in Tenaha, Texas to Ernest Bourghs and Thelka Owen Bourghs. He was retired as an operator from B.F. Goodrich. Darrell proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a wonderful father to Larry Bourghs, Dinah Stanley and Kathy Bourghs. And a loving example to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Darrell was a gentle, humble and compassionate man. He had a long-standing relationship with the Lord and was blessed with his faith to his last breath. Although our hearts are heavy, we celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in Heaven. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches.
