Darril G. Holland, 65, of Groves, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Darril was born December 14, 1950 in Tokyo, Japan and traveled to many other countries before settling in Groves 45 years ago. He retired from Exxon Mobil in 2010 as an outside machinist and was an avid Ham radio operator communicating with others around the world. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Geraldine Holland of Groves; parents, Floyd Holland and Alberta Ancelet Holland of Groves; brother, Rynwick Holland and his wife Debbie of Nederland; niece, Amber Holland of Pflugerville; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Dr. Phil Sigman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
