David "Bubba" Brittain David "Bubba" Brittain, 59, of Port Neches, Texas died Monday, December 02, 2013 at his residence. David was born July 6, 1954 in Beaumont, Texas to Dan Brittain and Leona Boudreaux Brittain. He was a lifelong resident of Port Neches and a Process Operator at Dupont with 30 years of service. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 followed by a celebration of his life ceremony at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. David was preceded in death by his father, Dan Brittain. Surviving relatives include his wife, Marie Brittain of Port Neches, Texas; mother, Leona Brittain of Port Neches, Texas; daughter, Whitney Doiron and husband Terry of Beaumont, Texas; son, Kevin Martin of Houston, Texas; sister, Mona Brittain and husband Donavon Salter of Beaumont, Texas; granddaughters, Brooke and Macy Umphrey. Bubba will forever be remembered by his loving family along with countless friends whose lives he touched with humor, generosity, and passion for life. His devotion to Marie, his family and special circle of friends will never be forgotten.
