David Degeyter

David Degeyter 66, of Port Arthur passed away Friday November 13, 2015 at his residence in Port Arthur. David was born on January 28, 1949 in Port Arthur to Joseph Earl Degeyter and Betty Veillion Degeyter. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and was an Electrician with the I.B.E.W. Local #479. Memorial services will be held on Thursday November 19, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral home in Groves with Reverend J.C. Coon officiating. A visitation for family and friends will follow from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. David is survived by his wife Edith "Edie" Degeyter of Port Arthur; father Joseph Earl Degeyter of Groves; two daughters Sarah Rochelle Degeyter of Sweeny, Texas and Denise Norwood and husband Karl of Groves, Texas; three sons David Aaron Degeyter of Austin, Texas, Jerry Serville and wife Aimee of Fort Worth, Texas and Frank Davis and wife Kayleigh of Groves, Texas; two brothers Robert Earl Degeyter and wife Vickie of Houston, Texas and Glen John Degeyter of Houston, Texas; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild; mother and father-in-law Margaret and Walter F. "Buddy" Davis and multiple nieces and nephews.
