David Paul Hoelzer, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
David was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on December 21, 1954. He was the son of Ronnie Hoelzer and Sally Reid Hoelzer. He was a long time resident of Port Neches, where he also went to school and graduated from Port Neches- Groves High School. He served in the United States Marine Corp. He later began working as an entrepreneur. He was the former President of TRVA and RVDA, and was a member of F.O.E. Crystal Beach Lodge # 3719. David loved to cruise and play golf with his friends. He also had enjoyed duck hunting.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Erylene Johnson; and stepfather, Frank Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Hoelzer of Port Neches; father, Ronnie “Ron” Hoelzer and stepmother, Peggy;
son, Robert Wesley Hoelzer and Liz Clifton of Winnie; twin sons, Joshua Davis Hoelzer and wife April of Groves and Jacob Paul Hoelzer of Port Neches; grandson, Royce Wesley Weisinger; granddaughters, Lilliana Hoelzer and Addison Dekerlegand; sister, Julie Campbell and husband Glenn of Port Neches; brother, Chris Eric Hoelzer of Mauriceville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Jackson, Dave Kersten, Darrell Dugas, Charles Griffin, Keith Zahar, Greg Laughlin, Robert Hanks, and Reid Duplantis.
