David Shelton Johnson

David Shelton Johnson, 62, of Groves, Texas formerly of Port Acres passed away Monday, December 4, 2017. David was born on July 30, 1955 in Port Arthur, Texas to Shelton Johnson and Lillie Martin Johnson. He was a lifelong area resident and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres. David was formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator for Great Lakes Carbon. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Bobby Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Heather Paciga Johnson of Groves; son, Timothy Johnson and wife Courtney of Norfolk, VA; step-father, William Hock of Port Neches; step-son, Justin LeBlanc and wife Michele of Austin; step-daughters, Jennifer Paciga and husband James Lavron of Port Arthur, and Samantha Coffey and husband David of Abilene; brother, Jerry Johnson and wife Theresa of Nederland; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Jeff Bell officiating.
