David Lamar Shaw

David Lamar Shaw, 61, of Port Neches, Texas passed away July 26, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was born November 14, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late James Otto and Mildred Rainey Shaw. David was the lead singer for Southeast Texas favorite EAZY the Band. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Marine Corp.A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the funeral home, Rev. James Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.He is survived by his son, Brandin Shaw and wife Stephanie of Beaumont grandson, Branson Shaw who is due in January and numerous family and friends.Serving as pallbearers are Steve Champagne, Oneal quotPoochquot Poche, Bobby Davis, Shelby Collins, Paul Bonin, and George Hernandez.
