David Ronald Scott

David Ronald Scott, 79, of Hildebrandt Bayou, passed away on Wednesday, May 03, 2017 in Port Arthur, TX. David was born on March 18, 1938 in Knoxville, TN. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Nederland and The American Legion #493 in Port Neches. David was a Journeyman Electrician with IBEW 479 and he proudly served his country in the United States Army Airborne.
David is survived by his daughter, Natalie Scott of Kyle, TX and his sister, Marsha Wilson and husband, Kent of Port Arthur, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, B. E. Maxwell and Mary Lee Walker Maxwell.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m.at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. The interment will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, TX.
