Dean (McPherson) Fincher, 88, of Nederland, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016.

Dean was born June 21,1928 in Kinder, LA to the late Joseph and Lena Saucier Fontenot. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, Gary McPherson and wife Pauline of Scottsville, TX, Gerald McPherson and wife Sharon of Nederland, TX, and Jim McPherson and wife Carolyn of Houston, TX; 9 Grandchildren, Bill McPherson, Joey McPherson, Kevin McPherson, Troy McPherson, Laurie Martin, Wanda Stevens, Sandra Rhodes, Teresa Crandell and Tracy McPherson; 17 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; sister, Tiny Fontenot of Vidrine, LA, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and many close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Vernon McPherson and Thomas Fincher, also a grandson, Wade McPherson.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Monday, June 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Melancon's Funeral Home.
