Dean "Deano" Jones, 61, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. "Deano" was born March 27, 1953 in Port Arthur, Texas to Frankie D. Jones and Joy Jones. He resided in Austin for 25 years before moving back to Groves 10 years ago, and was a self-employed carpenter and musician. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2014 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Toney Miller and Reverend Wayne Flowers officiating. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. "Deano" is survived by his mother, Joy Jones of Groves and his music world family.
