Deborah Gant DeRoche, 67, lifelong resident of Nederland, Texas passed away July 15, 2020. She was born in Beaumont, Texas on December 12, 1952 to the late Ross Anderson Gant and Lois Opal Glawson Gant. Deborah was a member of First Baptist Church in Nederland.

Those left to cherish Deborah’s memory are her sons, David DeRoche of Argyle and Michael DeRoche of Corinth; her daughter, Sarah Sheffield of Denton; her grandchildren, Matthew Engelbrecht, Sidney Engelbrecht, Shelby Engelbrecht, Joshua DeRoche, Lily Sheffield, Elise Sheffield, and Jonathan Sheffield; great-granddaughter, Alaina DeRoche; her sister, Judy LaSalle, her brother-in-law, Ronnie LaSalle; and her niece, Jennifer LaSalle. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband David E. DeRoche, and her daughter Sherylen Tate.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Jacks Cemetery in Pineland, Texas.
